Finance
Church members, whether their individual resources are large or small, are encouraged to plan and commit
themselves to regular giving to the church.  This is vital to pay for the clergy, maintain the services and the
church buildings, and to help to promote the Christian message.  Giving can be made easier by using the
weekly envelopes or monthly standing orders.  Please speak to the Treasurer to find out more.

If you are a tax-payer then you can help us by “Gift-Aiding” your giving.

Throughout the year...
Apart from the groups listed above, there are other events in the life of the Parish Church; such as the
Harvest Supper, Quiz Nights, and Carol Singing in Advent. Some events aim to raise funds for church
restoration as well as provide entertainment, especially the Garden Party in June. We also hold a coffee
morning in the Church once a month from May to October.  Through these we hope to show forth the love
of Christ in the wider community. We try to welcome and involve everyone in our parish life: whatever your
God-given gift - be it arranging flowers, gardening, leading or being a member of a group, being a server or
sidesman, cleaning, reading the lessons, baking a cake or being a parish visitor - we need it to make us
more complete.
