How is the Charity run?
The St Mary & St Giles Charity is registered with the Charity Commissioners (Number 280152) and is
regulated under the Charities Act 1993.
The Charity is administered in accordance with the Charities Act by five Trustees—the Vicar and
Churchwardens, and two Trustees appointed by the Parochial Church Council. A Clerk to the Trustees
assists them in their work.
The Trustees are legally accountable for the funds and assets of the Charity and for ensuring that they are
used according to their intended purpose.
